DMK Stemzyme Treatment 

This treatment is what drew me to DMK in the first place. There is not a treatment like it in the world. It is safe, effective and WILL create stem cells within the skin. For those of you who may not fully understand what a stem cell is and why this is such a game changer treatment, let me explain.

Stem cells are blank slates that can turn into any type of cell in the body. Stem cells wait for signals from the body to let them know where they are needed, making them little hero cells within us. This is why they are being tested and studied to treat an array of things from leukemia, blindness, degeratative diseases, joint pain and so much more.

How they play a role in our skin?

​

Stem cells in the skin work with the body to create healthy new skin cells where there is a sign of lack or damage. A few examples of cells that they can turn into within the skin and the roles they play.

The langerhan cell- think the immune system of the skin. So if you have redness, transepidermal water loss, inflammation, rocessa, acne etc this is the cell that will help correct these skin issues.

​

The melanocyte cell - the cell responsible for the production of melanin. Think sun damage, brown spots, hyperpigmention and melasma. This cell works to correct the over production of this in your skin.

​

The fiberblast cell- This is the cell that helps maintain the structural framework of tissues and our favorite thing, collagen production. Which we all know, starting at age 20 our bodies start to lose this valuable protein.

Here is the thing with stem cells, every decade of our life we lose 10-15% of our stem cells. So being able to create stem cells with a treatment is huge. The best part this treatment has a 100% success rate. Unfortunately stem cell rejection can occur 70% of the time with other methods. 

Honestly this treatment can be done on anyone. It has even been performed on a 10 year old. While this is not needed for most 10 year old, this child had an advanced skin condition where stemzyme was not only safe for her it was effective.

Clients must have had 1-2 enzyme treatments prior. A skin consult is also a must!! You cannot book this treatment yourself it must be booked in office with me as it is extremely important that you understand the process and all 5 treatments must be booked before we begin stemzyme. Day One:

The Stemzyme treatment will take about 2 to 2 and a half hours and will consist of an Alkaline wash, 5 layers of stemenzyme and will end with an enzyme treatment. You might experience some discomfort, heat and/or tingling sensation. This will be pretty minimal and is a very tolerable treatment. Throughout the Stemzyme I will be talking with you and explaining at each step what is happening. 

Day 12, 24, 36, and 48

Follow up Enzyme treatment. This appointment will take about an hour.

The first 7-10 days you may experience some downtime and will vary from person to person. This could consist of red/pink skin, tenderness, hot spots, dry flaky skin.

Through out the rest of the treatment days (day 10-50) your skin may feel drier than normal. Trust the process as this is all part of it and very normal. The 

Day 1-3

You CANNOT wear ANY makeup!

You must wash your face every 8 hours (for a total of 3 times a day) I take this into consideration when booking treatment one as we would not want you to have to wake up in the middle of the night to wash your face.

Day 4-50

You can wear makeup and will go back to washing your face every 12 hours (2 times a day)
